Bucking Rolls & Night Latches For Sale

All of our bucking roll tops are made with 5/6 oz. chap leather or tooling leather. All come with welts and are pre-curved. We have a large variety chap leather colors available. We can put stamping or carving on the tooling leather and oil or stain them whatever color you would like. You can have decorative stitching on the chap material. We can customize them just about any way you want!

When ordering a custom pair we need to know:
1. Style & Size
2. Color of the top and base. To help pick colors or style also see the “Past Made Bucking Rolls” page.
3. Tops out of tooling leather or chap leather.
4. Type of attachment on the side of your saddle-with saddle strings or screws (Slots for concho attachment is not available in the Great Basin large style because they are too long, only screw attachment).
5. If screws-brass or stainless steel.
6. Base regular or rough side out.
7. Middle attachment with leather strap or “The Twist”(See below for details and how to attach).
8. If you want Decorative Stitching On Tops, if so what color.
9. If you want Tooling Leather we need to know the color you want, if you are trying to match your saddle color we need to see a picture of your saddle. *We will do our best to match the color of your saddle but we can’t guarantee the match without having the saddle in the shop.
10. If you want Stamping we need to see a picture of your saddle tooling up close and we will get as close as possible to the same as your saddle.
