Testimony from a very happy, appreciated customer!
Hi Terri & Bob, I hope I'm not being a pain, but I just had to write again to voice my opinion. I've salved down my riatta (lightly) twice and the Vaquero rawhide cream has done a fine job. But I must say I'm really impressed with the Skidmore's Leather Cream. I don't believe I've ever used anything that worked this well. It is just unbelievable!!! We have 4 'using' saddles, with one being an old, old one I rescued from a guy's junk pile. I took it all apart, cleaned everything and replaced what needed to be replaced and put it back together with the idea that it would be a good 'mudding' saddle since the skirt was pretty stiff and brittle. But I have treated it (with Skidmore's) along with the other 3 and I was amazed at the results. That old skirt is becoming pliable again!!! I am going to continue to treat and let soak a few more times and see what happens. I also have an 1885 McClellan cavalry saddle that I completely restored a few years ago. It is on display with my other cavalry 'stuff' in the den. I have always used Pecards on it and was very satisfied with the results, but I honestly believe Skidmore's is better. I just can't tell you how pleased I am with it, and don't know how I got along without it. On a lighter note, we have a family of Skidmores that live just 5 miles from us and I have a good friend (another horse person) who married a girl named Skidmore. I will have to ask them if they are related and if so, why they kept this miracle cream a secret from me. Soooooo, now you know that you have a very satisfied customer and I plan to spread the word. Hope I can drum up some more business for you guys. Thanks again for recommending it to me.
