As of January 2026 Lisa Rensch has taken over the Out West Saddlery doing business as Sweet Balanced Equine.
Lisa is a very talented whole horse health practioner doing Equine Neuromuscular Dentistry. She offers individual & group saddle fitting evaluations, as well as creating custom feed & herb programs for equines.

Bob Beecher ~ Master Saddler, Retired

Bob was a high quality custom saddle maker for 30 years starting in 1996. His love was building old time style saddles that fit todays horses.

What set him apart from other makers and fitters is focusing on setting up horses/mules with saddles that fit a healthy version of their backs NOT to whatever shape they are that might include muscle atrophy from bad fitting saddles etc.  It took him 10 years to find a tree maker that would build trees for him that fit todays healthy backed horses/mules. Most need a much wider bar angle (not gullet width).
Bob’s background as an outfitter, ranch manager, custom boat and house builder gave him
invaluable knowledge that he has applied to saddle fitting, making him one of the best saddle fitters in the country. Bob cowboyed in NV and outfitted in AZ & CO. Bob’s passions are most outdoor activities including horseback riding, hunting, fishing and exploring.
